To create or edit existing GL accounts, you need to first put your Chart of Accounts in Edit Mode.  To do this first click the "Pencil" icon in the top right corner.

When in edit mode, clicking on a GL account will bring you into it's properties and allow you to change them.

Click the blue + button with the piggy bank icon to add a new one.
