Month End Window

Month End Window

The Month End window has three main menu tabs across the top; Unposted Transactions, Posted Transactions, and Apply Interest.  Each tab uses the Year and Month selection below the menu, defaulted to current fiscal year and month.

Unposted Transactions

Transactions can be unposted manually for editing of the transaction.  An unbalanced transaction, totals in red on the transaction details, will also not post.  This is likely due to a formula needing to be updated - submit a ticket.  These transactions will be listed for the year and month selected.  Each transaction can be viewed by clicking on the Name.

Managing unposted transactions;
  1. Open the transaction, click on "Post".
  2. Open the transaction, click on "Delete" to remove the transaction.  Transactions that have an offsetting transaction will not have the option to be deleted.
  3. If you are aware, without looking, that the transaction(s) should be posted, click the check box  in the far right column and click "Post" at the top.

Note: unposted transactions will not be included in financial reports.  All transactions must be posted for a month to Close that Month.

Posted Transactions
These transactions will be listed for the year and month selected.  These can viewed and unposted similar to above.

Apply Interest
The Apply Interest tab will allow to view and post monthly interest charges on Customer accounts.  Click Here for more information.
