Setting up Categories in ToolBx

In the ToolBx Admin, select Products > Categories from the left panel.  This will list all current categories set up in ToolBx with their status (active/inactive) and how many products fall under each category.  Just like in Sandbox, categories can be nested to better manage and organize products to help users navigate your site.       

   
The 6 dots  at the right of each category row allows you to organize the sort order.  Click and drag the category row to desired location then click save updates at the top.

To add a new category;
  1. Click Add a Category (top right)
  2. Enter the category Name
  3. If not a primary/level-one category, select the Parent Category
  4. Add a Category Photo
  5. Click Add Category

Performing Category Maintenance;
  1. To edit a category
    1. Click on the Category Name in the Category Listing
    2. Edit the Name, Parent Category, or status.  Setting Status to Inactive will remove visibility of the category and its products.    
    3. The Category Photo can also be replaced by removing  the current image.  
  2. Reordering categories
    1. Click and hold the six dot icon  at the right of the category  
    2. Drag up and down the listing to the desired location and release
    3. If a dashed line appears  for a category, the selected category will be nested within that category
