Giving a Supplier Credit

In the left menu select “Data”. Click “Suppliers” and locate the supplier and double click to open the supplier’s details



On the left click the “Credit” tab and then depending on the type of credit that you want to add to their account, either click on Receivable or Payable:




Receivable Credit

On Receivable tab, click on “Add Credit”, select the GL account(s) from the drop-down menu and fill in the amount for each row. If there is any tax, select the tax account as well, type in the document number and click on “Submit”.


You can see the customer credit once you minimize the form.



The receivable transaction will appear on Receivable Aging screen under Customer’s account:




Payable Credit

Click on “Payable” and then click on “Add Credit”. Fill in the form like Receivable Credit and click on submit.



You can see the payable credit once you minimize the form:


The payable transaction will also appear on the Payable Aging screen under the customer’s account:
