Hammer Time Tasks

Scheduling a task from an event
  1. Once logged in, go to the Jobs page in the navigation. Once there, select the job.
  2. Then, go to the Scheduling page.
  3. On this page, you'll see a calendar where you can create events and assign workers.
  4. If need be, you can also edit an existing event, in case you need to change the start and end times, title, worker, etc.
  5. Once the event is created, the assignee will see this available as an Open Job on the My Schedule page, so long as the individual is viewing it on that particular day for the event.
  6. From there, the user can edit the task as needed and later submit it for approval.

Creating an Unscheduled job
  1. This is a bit simpler and can be done directly from the My Schedule page, but it must be done by the worker in order for it to be seen.
  2. On the page, simply click on Add Unscheduled Job, and then begin to edit the details in the same way you would for the ones based on events.

Creating a Task
  1. This one is very similar to creating an unscheduled job. From My Schedule page, you click on add task, and the editor will also have a dropdown for the TaskType which must be selected.
  2. The intention of the tasks are for workers to keep track of things they must be paid for that aren't part of any particular job, like cleaning their trucks, for example. However, if the Tasks section is not visible, it means there haven't been any TaskTypes created yet, but you can do so with the following steps.
  3. Go to the Data page in the main navigation.
  4. Then, go to the Task Type page.
  5. From there, you can create task types that can later be selected from when creating a task on the My Schedule page.
